FARMETAL SA

FARMETAL is a Swiss Company sole agent of Tronox (USA) for the Italian market for the following products:

 

• High and low silicon pig iron (originating from Tronox Namakwa Sand – South Africa)
• Basic pig iron (originating from Tronox KZN Sand – South Africa)

The Pig iron is stored in the Intermodal Terminals of Porto Marghera (Venice) on concrete platforms.


THE COMPANY

Has a deep knowledge of the Italian foundry industry and is well aware of its needs.

HISTORY

The family managing Farmetal SA has been involved in the raw materials market for the last 80 years and has been selling in Europe the following products:
copper, bronze, brass, iron, ferrochrome, aluminium steel and pig iron.

The above-mentioned activities were supported by important exclusive agencies which included: Rio Tinto, Queensland Nickel, Asarco Co., Iscor (RSA), Acerinox (RSA), Zimasco (ZWE), Tulachernet Joint Stock (RUS), Tisco (CHN) and as of today Tronox (RSA).

SERVICES

Together with the foundries and with the help of a qualified network of sales agents, we plan the volume needs for each product.

We help to meet the financial needs of our clients with taylor made payment conditions.

We are a commercial partner with at least 50 of the top Italian foundries and we collaborate with some primary steel mills.
